North Coast Foodie Itinerary
The North Coast Foodie Experience is a five-day culinary adventure. You will savor sumptuous dishes, as you learn about authentic Jamaican cuisine, by visiting local restaurants, markets, coffee and rum estates. The Foodie experience starts in Montego Bay. Explore the city on a walking food tour. Your moving feast continues east to Falmouth, in Trelawny, next, Runaway Bay, Ocho Rios in St. Ana, Oracabessa, St. Mary, it ends in Port Antonio, Portland, the birthplace of Jamaican tourism, 1894.

Day 1: Explore Montego Bay and Falmouth
You arrive at Sangster Airport, Montego Bay, Jamaica. Your driver will greet you with a welcoming drink and hor d’oeuvres to whet your appetite for what’s ahead.
Begin with a guided waking food tour of the city
After you can relax on the beach, swim, snorkel
Lunch: We have arranged for you to dine at a local restaurant in Montego Bay
Dinner is at one of the best restaurants in Montego Bay: Pier 1, Patches
Day 2: To Journey to Port Antonio
You start the day with a classic Jamaican breakfast: ackee & saltfish, dumplings, local teas, Blue Mountain coffee, fresh healthy juices and fresh fruits.
• Join a food tour of historical Falmouth, and experience its foodie scene: Falmouth is rich with history. It was one of the most prosperous towns in colonial Jamaica. Today you can still appreciate a few remaining examples of Georgian Architecture. The Court house you see today is a faithful replica of the original, which was built in 1817.
• Visit Rose Hall Great House
• The Foodie experience stops at Scotchies, a must visit. Explore Ocho Rios; perhaps have tea, or a delightful tropical cocktail.
Arrive Port Antonio / San San Portland
Port Antonio, Portland, is the birth place of Jamaican Tourism since the 1894. Today it is still the jaunt for royalty, Hollywood Starts and the rich and famous.
• Local Jerk for Dinner will be one of the rewards of the drive along the beautiful North Coast shoreline.
Day 3: Chef’s Table: learn to cook Jamaican
Your chef will prepare an authentic Jamaican breakfast
Visit the local market, where you will learn about the key ingredients in Jamaican cuisine. You will work with Chef to prepare lunch.
After lunch, head to the famous Blue Lagoon, for boat ride. Swim in the crystal-clear waters.
For dinner your will experience a Five course meal prepared by top Jamaican chef
Day 4: Nature and Adventure
After breakfast relax at the beach or pool
For the fit and adventurous travelers looking to spend the day at Reach Falls, a natural waterfall and mineral spring located in the John Crow Mountains. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the cool waters and explore the beautiful rainforest.
In the late afternoon you will visit Boston, the birthplace of Jamaican jerk
Stop on the way to the hotel for dinner at Secret’s Chillout Bar and Grill. Note: This venue may host a bonfire in your honor. You will love the food and the tranquil Start the day with a tasty local dish, ackee & saltfish, maybe, local teas, Blue Mountain coffee, fresh healthy juices and fruits .
Day 5. Travel Home
Enjoy a breakfast of ackee-n-saltfish, calloo, some more Blue Mountain coffee or local tee and last-minute swim, before heading to the Airport.
This experience is designed for a minimum of eight people and a maximum of 12 persons. Guests must be older than 18.
Trip Cancellation Policy
Refund will be issued if canceled according to the Hotel or Resort policies. For example, a refund will be issued if canceled over 45 days prior to arrival throughout the year, and 90 days prior to arrival between December 20 and January 5. • The full amount is non-refundable when canceled within 45 days, 90 days or under between December 15 and January 10.
When permitted by the hotel the amount will be held as credit for a stay within 1 - 2 years. Blackout dates such as major US and Jamaican holiday periods apply. Non-hotel cost will be fully refundable if canceled within 30 days of arrival. No refunds for no shows. A 5 percent credit card fee will be deducted from refunds for canceled reservations. Refunds are processed within 30 days of the cancellation date.
